Senior Young Ireland player Aidan Savage has been named as this years club captain.The Antrim native was voted in unanimously at the clubs A.G.M.

When asked to comment on his appointment to the position of team leader for the club website he said "diddle diddle diddle diddle situation".It was clear a translation was needed so we went to his proud mother the famous cross dressing comedian and all round show person Lilly Savage.He/she said what Aidan meant was that this is his proudest moment ever in a football even more so than when a BBC commentator pointed out during an Antrim minor match that he was a good example of what was wrong with Antrim football at the moment.

The club looks forward to a good year with Sav at the helm,lets hope that it doesn't turn out to be along the same lines as the captainage of another Antrim made icon The Titanic.
