| Young Ireland's has a proud history of participation in the New South Wales senior mens gaelic football competition. |
Beginning almost forty years ago in 1969 the club have gone from strength to strength to become the longest surviving
and most succesful club in the competition to date. |

2007 has been one of our most succesful years to date with us winning every mens gaelic football competition we entered in N.S.W.
Hopefully 2008 can be as fruitful for us. |
Our first competition is down in Melbourne in the Pearse's annual 7 a-sides.
We took part last year for the first time in a number of years and despite being beaten in the semi finals we had a great day in what is a very well run blitz. |

| As a result of our participation a number of Sydney clubs will be making the trek down to the Victoria capital so competition is going to br yight this year, we are confident that we'll make a good showing for the club |
